Delo Tractor Restoration Competition

Find It! Fix It! Finish a Winner!

Chevron is pleased to recognize the 2017 Delo Tractor Restoration Competition Grand Champion, Corey Verstraeten of Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas. Corey takes home the Grand Champion title plus $10,000 for restoring a 1972 Oliver 1755 tractor.

The Reserve Champion recognition goes to Mathew Machicek of Rogers FFA in Rogers, Texas. Mathew restored a 1956 Minneapolis-Moline 335 to take home the honor of Reserve Champion and $5,000. Austin Reynolds of Ira FFA in Snyder, Texas placed Third and won $3,000 for his restoration of a 1969 John Deere.

Chevron recognizes all the team advisors who contribute their time and talents to mentor and guide the teams. For the first time in 2017, Chevron created an Advisor of the Year Award. Finalists’ teams were invited to submit essays nominating their advisor and recognizing all their efforts. Dillon Bradbury of Dubiski Career High School in Grand Prairie, Texas was named the 2017 Advisor of the Year during the Delo TRC Awards Ceremony. Dillon received a check for $1,000 and a plaque honoring his recognition as the 2017 Advisor of the Year.

Line up your tractor and mark your calendar for these dates:

  • Competition opens: April 2018*
  • Competition deadline: August 20, 2018 for all workbooks, videos, photos
  • Finalists will be notified in September
  • Finalist presentations will take place during the 2018 FFA in Indianapolis, IN
