When Ryan Haass started restoring his 1960 Case 530, little did he know it would make him a champion. After months of hard work and facing tough questions from the panel of judges, Haass was crowned the winner of the 2011 Delo Tractor Restoration Competition during the 84th National FFA convention in Indiapolis on October 20. As champion, Haass receives a $5,000 prize. Haass, who hails from Devine, TX, was thrilled with the victory. A senior, he plans to study engineering in the fall. This is his 7th restoration. Congratulations to Ryan, and all the finalists.
